‘Millionaire Success Habits’ by Dean Graziosi was the book I chose to read in March, in keeping with my personal goal of reading at least one self development book each month this year. If I become a millionaire in 2020, this book will be why!
I was initially skeptical about purchasing this book, and I’m not really sure why. Maybe Dean’s enthusiasm in selling it or the fact that it kept popping up everywhere made me want to reject it in a passive aggressive form of rebellion. So silly. In any case, I am really glad that I ordered this book and followed through with the exercises that Graziosi offers, because I must say that my perspectives and mindset did shift in a positive way.
If you read this book, I really encourage you to take time to follow through with the written exercises that Graziosi offers. Simply browsing through, thinking that you’ve heard all of this material before is not going to help nearly as much as putting in some legitimate effort. Graziosi offers a new way of looking at some principles of success which he calls “recipes”, and I appreciate his down to earth approach.
The book has a nice flow and the order of content and exercises makes a lot of sense as you read through it. His biggest point, and I have to agree completely, is not to change everything at once, but to make small daily changes that will ultimately lead to new and more successful habits. I really do feel like I made daily mental changes as I read through this book. I also love that I have notes written down to read through on days that I start feeling doubtful or sort of meh.
I think this is a great book for anyone feeling a little stuck in their life, but especially if you are having financial struggles or are an entrepreneur.
